An esteemed law firm is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to join its Investment Funds Group. This full-time position, open in various US locations, involves managing real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. The ideal candidate will have over three years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with securities offerings is advantageous.

Duties

  • Oversee real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to real estate investments.
  • Conduct research to support the firm’s investment funds operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality work on time and foster positive work relationships.
  • Engage in virtual meetings and computer-based tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet the demands of the role.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in real estate law, especially in acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Knowledge of securities offerings is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in influencing and building professional relationships.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
