What You'll Be Doing

The Retail Sales Director is responsible for driving global growth of CPI's retail solutions within our 3 largest OEM partners, while establishing multi-tiered relationships and a clear understanding of the areas of value creation. You will play a pivotal role in the development of our go-to-market strategy within Retail globally, while building and managing key account relationships.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Develop & implement Retail sales strategies on established sales plans with OEM customers.
  • Represent the end customer on an ongoing basis and use this to drive effective prioritization and decisions by understanding and communicating their needs.
  • Client retention and key account management - the main focus of the role is to retain and grow current or existing accounts in line with business growth plans.
  • Create an account strategy leveraging internal network to identify & drive engagement with key stakeholders and drive strategic C-suite alignment with customers.
  • Participate in development of annual targets and communicate progress through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting. Track KPIs and identify gaps as they arise and take corrective action with the proper sense of urgency.
  • Partner closely with enterprise sales, product management, technical support & service, quality, and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Who We're Looking For

You will bring at least 10 years of strategic account management experience with large, multi-national accounts (>$10M revenue/year), as well as demonstrated success working with overseas/multi-national accounts.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong technical business acumen and long-term business development skills
  • Ability to solve customers' problems with our offering and feed our innovation pipeline
  • Must be willing to travel within region up to 50% of the time
