Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. We are looking for qualified individuals to join our new program and team!
Position: Counselor I/QMHA
Salary Range: $27.31/hour - $35.31/hour. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements)
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Position Requirement: Bachelor's degree in social services field or combination of education/experience that qualifies as a QMHA required; History of working cooperatively in a team setting with at least two years relevant work experience preferred.
Summary: The Counselor I will provide compassionate, person-centered, trauma-informed care to individuals with the goal of stabilization at the least restrictive level of care and an emphasis on post crisis growth. The Counselor I, as part of an integrated care team, will provide therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents and families as assigned by a designated QMHP or Clinical Supervisor. The successful candidate will have experience in working with individuals with psychiatric diagnoses or symptoms, as well as knowledge in assessing and triaging, medication administration and crisis management skills.

Working Conditions:
  • Must have the ability to assist the team in providing safety to all clients and staff in potentially volatile situations.
