Senior Windows Engineer

Optomi, in partnership with one of our premiere clients, are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Engineer to join our team of endpoint management experts as we optimize associate productivity and meet business needs with a world-class operating system platform. We're looking for a passionate Senior Windows Engineer to tackle complex challenges on a global scale using cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Qualifications and Skills of the right candidate:

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and registry management.
  • Expertise in PC hardware and system configurations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Task Sequence for system imaging.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Autopilot for device provisioning.
  • Experience in managing Windows clients within co-managed and cloud-only AADJ environments.
  • Proficient in Windows 10/11 OS upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy administration.
  • Experience managing endpoints on a global scale.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.
  • Advanced skills in PowerShell.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical and architectural decisions in line with our strategic roadmap and long-term objectives.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for engineering excellence across the team.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft and OEMs to align roadmaps, coordinating with product owners and engineers to identify necessary technical deliverables.
  • Work cross-functionally to align dependencies and coordinate product rollouts.
