We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of concrete construction projects and providing timely, competitive bids. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather all necessary information for comprehensive cost estimates.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications, including blueprints
- Knowledge of Plan Swift
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Collaborate with project managers to develop competitive bid proposals
- Stay updated on industry pricing and trends
- Participate in bid and proposal presentations
- Ensure that all estimates are completed on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain relationships with Vendors, Companies and Contractors
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management (preferred), engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented and organized
