CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Traffic & ITS Senior Project Manager to join our Infrastructure - Traffic ITS Team at our office in Miami, FL .
YOUR IMPACT
CHA's Traffic and ITS team provides planning, analysis, modeling, and design development to help traffic run smoothly and safely in some of the largest metros in the US. Our team of traffic engineers, transportation planners, and technical staff provides a comprehensive breadth of knowledge and experience in all facets of modal mobility, accessibility, safety, technology, and deployment.
The Traffic & ITS Senior Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule while thoroughly understanding all project risks and applicable financial measures. This senior role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. Our Traffic & ITS Senior Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem-solving and adapting under pressure.
This role involves selling and developing work with specific clients, leading to a "seller/doer" dual role, and identifying target market areas and marketing plan development. The Traffic & ITS Senior Project Manager communicates updates to the client, management, and project team, and prepares for and attends monthly project review meetings with operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree is required; Master's Degree preferred
- PE or equivalent professional license preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience required; a minimum of 8 years of project management experience required
- Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects required
- Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships
- Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements
- Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required
- Proven track record in managing ATMS and/or TSM&O projects
- Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments required
- Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite required
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
- An articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
- Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred
- Ability to travel as needed required
SALARY RANGE:
$131,000 - $168,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
