Energy Analyst

One of my clients an Independent System Operator is looking for an Energy Analyst to join their team. This is a 3-2 Hybrid role based in Holyoke, MA !

Key Responsibilities:

• Research optimization about pricing and scheduling of electricity markets
• Ability to present and have excellent analytical / communication skills
• Develop models for market designs
• Research / operate changes in the market and have a deep understanding of why
• Work on fundamental analysis in collaborations with various teams

Key Qualifications:

• PHD in Power Markets, Electrical/ System Engineering / related field
• 5+ years of experience in the markets (Any ISO)
• Understanding of electricity markets, power systems, and power operations
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python)
