The Physicist is responsible for calibration and quality assurance of all radiation therapy equipment; performing calculation and treatment plan dosimetry for patient treatment, verification of patient doses, chart checks and necessary radiation therapy procedures in compliance with the State Regulations for Radiation and Protection. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
Education:
Master's Degree: Engineering, Master's Degree: Medical Physics (Required), Master's Degree: Physical Science, Ph.D.
Work Experience:
Medical radiation physics
Certifications:
Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics - American Board of Radiology
