Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Associate Director of Technology & Entitlements  to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development and administration of entitlements for various critical technology systems, facilitating the development and maintenance of both internal and external applications, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms. This role is pivotal in creating and maintaining product roadmaps, integration strategies, compliance procedures, and documentation related to technology systems. This position will be an individual contributor with no people management responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:


Entitlements Administration:

  • Coordinate the development and management of entitlements for multiple technology systems, including Wealthscape, Black Diamond, Practifi, SmartX, Box, CAIS, DocuSign, A360, the intranet, and email systems.
  • Ensure users are granted appropriate access levels based on their roles and responsibilities.


Application Development and Maintenance:

  • Facilitate the development and upkeep of internal- and external-facing systems and applications (e.g., Black Diamond, Practifi, Box, DocuSign, and the intranet).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve functionality and user experience.


Product Roadmaps and Integration Strategies:

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and integration strategies for technology systems.
  • Establish internal policies and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements to ensure smooth system operations and data security.


Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with vendors to oversee critical applications, systems, and projects.
  • Ensure timely project delivery and strong collaboration through effective vendor management.


IT Project Management:

  • Lead IT projects to meet business objectives and key operational goals.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.


Cyber Threat Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze cyber threats reported by associates.
  • Take necessary steps to address potential risks and vulnerabilities.


Technical Support:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance through phone, email, or in person.
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support.
  • Record and maintain logs of issues and resolutions.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams based on customer suggestions and identify areas for procedural improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technology support, entitlements administration, and project management, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, hardware, and software systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite at an administrative level and familiarity with business applications.
  • Experience with financial software and tools, such as portfolio management systems and trading platforms, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive financial data.

 

Working Conditions

  • Location : This position is based in Tampa, Florida in a Hybrid capacity.
  • Hours : Full-time position with standard working hours. Additional hours may be required during peak periods or regulatory examinations.


Job Type / Salary

  • Full-time, Exempt
  • $80,000-$90,000 base per year, dependent on experience, with additional semi-annual performance bonus opportunities and an equity package.
