· Analyzes expenses of the organization and cost transactions related to manufacturing, inventories, and sales; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned appropriately for analysis and reporting


· Prepares monthly financial reporting of variances to budget and/or forecast, especially as related to COGS


· Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes breakdowns of project costs,

forecasts of remaining expenses, and opportunities to increase efficiency


· Prepares periodic cost reconciliation tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs


· Reviews, calculates, and and updates standard costs as needed to ensure accuracy of inventory

valuations, including but not limited to assembly of source data, calculations, and maintenance within the ERP system


· Maintains standard cost system process and methodologies including documentation


· Works with Inventory Cost Analyst to collectively monitor the integrity of inventory data


· Prepares quarterly profitability workbooks by Customer, part number, etc. in provided format


· Prepares Customer Profitability review templates as requested for business case analysis


· Provides support to VP Finance in compilation of budget and forecasts, working in multi-departmental groups to collect, analyze, and verify data for most accurate output possible including complete BS and IS details.


· Supports other departments as needed


· Maintains SOP documents on all standard work


· Cross trains others to standard processes as directed


· Assist in Audits - Financial, Inventory, JSOX, etc.


· Performs other related duties, as assigned


Requirements :


· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required.

· CMA certification is a plus.

· At least three years of related experience in manufacturing environment required.

· Excellent analytical skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
