Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Orbit Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will monitor various functional components of the operational system and analyze SSA data products, graphs, and data quality QA metrics to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of mission-critical safety-of-flight services. A strong background in mathematics and engineering is essential. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently at times. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with professionals across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the components of the operational system.
- Respond to operational and technical issues as they arise.
- Create and maintain operational procedures and job aids.
- Coordinate with DoD personnel, satellite operators, and other mission stakeholders to support the SSA mission.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in SSA and flight dynamics.
- Prior experience in satellite operations.
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies.
