The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. This role includes up to 30% travel.
Key job responsibilities
The team is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for supporting customers as they build on our Neuron hardware, Trainium and Inferentia. As a Neuron Performance Solution Architect (SA), you will work with customers globally, partner closely with the engineering, business development, and technical field teams to drive the adoption of AWS EC2 neuron-based instances. The EC2 Neuron Performance SA will develop white papers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations to enable customers and partners to understand and leverage the value of EC2. The EC2 Neuron Performance SA will also help drive enablement initiatives to continually develop the best technical field teams in the industry.
About the team
The AWS EC2 Performance team was created to make sure customers can deploy the best, most scalable, and most performant architectures possible. You’ll play an important role as an advocate with our service teams to make sure we are building the right products.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
- 5+ Years experience analyzing and interpreting performance metrics and logs
- 3+ Years of Data Processing and cleaning including the handling of large datasets, addressing encoding issues, and transforming raw data into suitable formats for LLMs.
- 3+ Years of experience with LLMs (including training) and Prompt Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ Years experience presenting to senior leadership within a customer or partner organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
- Understand and evaluate metrics for accuracy, fluency, coherence, and task-specific evaluations.
- Proficiency with writing and debugging applications developed in Python, TensorFlow, or JAX and as well as an understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Technical leadership, including the ability to understand the customer IT landscape, identify opportunities and overcome any technical obstacles, ultimately influencing the adoption of AWS platform in conjunction with business requirements.
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
- Computer Science/relevant degree and/or experience highly desired
