Chief of Facilities Engineering and Managment. Leads and Manages thedesign, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment,machinery, buildings, and other facilities in support of governmentoperations. Leads a staff to cinclude a project engineering and draftingteam, multidisciplinary engineering team, and facilities operations andmaintenance team. The teams coordinate with government staff and buildingcontractors to ensure continuity of operations, building safety, andadherence to applicable building codes.Leads planning for major and minor remodeling, continuous upgrades tofacilities infrastructure, space utilization and other facilities needs forthe government. Leads plans, directs, and manages all phases ofequipment, electrical, mechanical, and building systems maintenance,facilities modification and building projects from the design concept throughiEnsures project requirements are defined, contract and contract changes arenegotiated, operating budgets established, and financialterms/conditions of contract are identified. Maintains compliance with andabreast in changes regarding OSHA regulations. Manages the receiving andshipping warehouse function. May also have responsibility for someadministrative services and mailroom. Manages and implements energymanagement/utility consumption improvement programs. Performs environmentalhazard management/planning and remediation. Establishes and maintainsequipment and system standards.Leads a team that issues and negotiates competitive RFPs to building andmaintenance contractors for equipment and systems maintenance. Leads largeand small construction projects within the building envelope. Explores andsolicits alternative options for products and services in support of facilityoperations and maintenance. Oversees construction and renovation projects toimprove efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental,health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.Ideal candidate:Proven executive level leadership skills to enable multidisciplinaryengineering teams to meet the customer's performance objectives.Demonstrates strong personal leadership qualities and excellent interpersonalskills for coordinating and following daily interactions with multitudinousstakeholders in business, military, and civilian government -- at alllevels within a large agency footprint. Works with corporate leaders and thegovernment to establish agreed upon program objectives, requirements,concepts of operations, and deliverables. Demonstrates record to ofsatisfying the same -- within cost, schedule, and contract constraints andwithin a dynamic operational environment.

Qualifications

21+ years of experience in leadership and management of facilitiesengineering, operations, and maintenance.Fully adjudicated TS/SCI clearanceProject Management Profession (PMP) certfiedMaster of Science degree in engineering or MBA in lieu of PMP certificationProfession Engineering license a plusGraduate of military or government professional engineering training programsa plus

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for thisposition based on experience and other factors.
