The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Director, FP&A, and will provide the support for generating accurate, driver-based forecasts for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, through strong engagement with our functional teams and regional leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance or Accounting professional to join a dynamic and growing market leader.

Here’s what you’ll do....

  1. Financial Review Preparation:
  2. Coordination and compilation of financial and operational information used in the monthly financial reviews with senior / executive management and the Board of Directors
  3. Preparation, analysis, and communication of month end financial results for Executive and Operational leadership
  4. Supporting the organization, including, but not limited to:
  5. Support the month end closing and forecast process
  6. Drive budget and forecast process for assigned areas of focus, including functional and regional areas of responsibility
  7. Analyze and interpret financial/operating results; improve forecast accuracy and visibility, link financial activities to key business drivers
  8. Support delivery of decision support by focusing on enhancing business value
  9. Make recommendations to achieve planned performance for the operating teams
  10. Understand, communicate and explain variance drivers within the business across functions and regions
  11. Identify risks & opportunities and work with functional leaders in mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities
  12. Work with Aptos management to develop financial business cases to support proposed projects
  13. Establish strong business partner relationship with Aptos management
  14. Recommend, develop and implement operational analytic models for strategic and operational decision making including, but not limited to:
  • Revenue forecast and analysis
  • Operating KPI’s
  • Cash Forecasting
  • Trend analysis and business influences
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of the budget and forecast including:
    • Detailed variance and bridge analysis
    • Trend / run rate impacts
    • One time event analysis
    • Recommend, develop and implement actionable, repeatable analytic reporting

Here’s what skills you’ll need...

  • Bachelor level degree in Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office – particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Detailed knowledge of general ledger and financial statements
  • Ability to perform complex financial analysis and modeling utilizing data from disparate sources
  • Ability to model forecasts within planning systems; prior experience implementing or enhancing a financial planning and analysis tool would be a plus
  • Demonstrated understanding of financials and budgeting processes and ability to proactively drive inputs to budgets and forecasts
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, to build meaningful relationships and to drive for results across functional lines
  • Process focused with the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Extremely detail oriented with a tenacity to always get the job done
  • Organized and self-motivated to accomplish goals
  • Ability to multi-task and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment that changes according to business need

The pay range for this position is between $80,000 and $92,000 plus Incentive Bonus. Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including a base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible roles, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
