Program Director - Crouching Tigers, Milwaukee, WI
About Us:
Crouching Tigers is a leading mobile teaching company specializing in martial arts and tumbling for children aged 2 to 8. We are expanding our operations to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to spearhead our growth in this new territory. As we embark on this exciting journey, the Program Director will play a pivotal role in establishing our presence, identifying key locations, and nurturing relationships with childcare centers, preschools, daycares, and after-school programs in the Milwaukee area.
The Role:
As the Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Crouching Tigers program in Milwaukee. This position is critical to the growth of the Crouching Tigers team, maintaining our professional quality and upholding our high standards of excellence. As part of the field leadership team, the Program Director will actively contribute to Crouching Tigers' growth, success, and impact in the community, representing our organization with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Instructors and Assistant Program Directors: Foster a positive and supportive environment, promote teamwork, and facilitate professional growth.
- Training: Coordinate and conduct training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Location Management and Business Development: Oversee operations and development of program locations, troubleshoot on-site issues, and identify growth opportunities.
- Teaching and Substitution: Deliver engaging martial arts and tumbling lessons and act as a substitute when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in management or leadership roles.
- Experience working with groups of children.
- Reliable vehicle and driver's license.
- Martial arts and/or gymnastics experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires a dynamic and active individual comfortable with standing, walking, and engaging in physical activities throughout the workday. You will need to use your hands, arms, and legs consistently and may occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Loudly projecting your voice is also a part of the role.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some times of the year may be busier and require more hours, while other times will be slower and require fewer hours.
