Job Requirements / Description
Position Purpose: Support the Accounting and Accounts Payable function. Assist in monthly financial processes and bank/balance sheet reconciliations along with other monthly financial duties as needed. This position may be a partial or complete teleworking position at the discretion of the organization.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Position Specific Performance Expectations:
o Perform monthly close responsibilities
o Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
o Contract Billing and reconciliation
o Sales Tax filing
o Prepare month end financials and reporting for various companies
o Accounts Payable services
o Process vendor invoices, complete accounts payable check runs, ensure accuracy, and maintain vendor files.
o Maintain and complete all documentation for 1099's at year end.
o Weekly bank deposits and Journal entry posting
o Follow department and hospital wide policies and procedures.
o Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
o Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions)
o Must be able to legally work in the United States
o Must be able to pass a background check
o Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable)
o Must complete employee health meeting
Education/Licensure/Certification:
o Associates Degree and years of experience or four years of complete accounting experience including accounts payable, payroll, account reconciliations, preparation of financial statements according to GAAP.
Experience:
o Healthcare Accounting preferred.
o Knowledge or EPIC, G/L, Accounts Payable and Payroll systems desired.
Position Classification: Non-exempt
Compensation Range: $21.79 to $31.61
