In addition, you possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, are dedicated to excellence in PCB design, and thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted, and results-oriented environment.What You'll DoYour primary responsibilities will be to design high speed, constraint driven printed circuit boards managing all rules and constraints in Allegro PCB Constraint manager while interfacing with global design teams.Effectively manage the design flow; importing netlist changes, routing, clean up and generating output Gerber data.Solve complex signal integrity issues, mitigate crosstalk, manage multiple power rails, and resolve power distribution challenges.Manage communication between globally disbursed teams taking input from all team members, making trade-offs and offer solutions to mitigate risk to project schedules.Interact with multi-functional teams for technical discussions providing feedback as needed to ensure excellent quality PCBs.Responsible for checking and validation of PCB design to meet all DFX requirements.Perform all PCB design layout activities using Cadence Allegro PCB Editor Version 22.1+.Who You'll Work WithWe have a global team of Hardware, Mechanical, Signal Integrity, and Manufacturing engineers that you will engage with closely on our next generation of designs. In addition, we have PCB designers on our team and within the global ECAD team at Cisco who we work together with, learn from, and we share information.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, PCB Design, or an equivalent field5+ years of experience designing complex printed circuit boards.5+ years of experience with Allegro PCB Design EditorPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or PCB designCross functional knowledge in areas such as mechanical design, power distribution, signal integrity, and EMC.Extensive experience importing Mechanical IDF input and resolving conflicts.Experience in strategizing high-speed design techniques including component placement, efficient trace breakout, return path planning, multi-level back-drilling setup for optimized manufacturing and the highest quality signal integrity.Knowledge of Cadence SKILLExtensive knowledge of PCB stackup definitions, material types, prepreg and dielectric materials.Why Cisco SecureWe're global, we're adaptable, we're diverse, and our security portfolio is as extensive as it is groundbreaking.
