Job Description:
The Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of heavy civil construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate project activities, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Supervise project staff and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any issues.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost tracking and forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in heavy civil construction project management, particularly in transportation (bridge/highway) and federal/state infrastructure projects (dams, wastewater, spillways).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
