Domestic Forwarding Sales Executive

Our client is looking for a few passionate and experienced Domestic Forwarding Sales Executives to help them land new B2B clients.


Job Type: Full-time/hybrid


Responsibilities:

  1. Win clients that can benefit from the company’s track record of impeccable freight and warehousing services.
  2. In-Person, Phone, Zoom, E-mail sales to build relationships, share information, and move the prospect toward becoming a client.
  3. Meet clients face-to-face at their facilities to build relationships where possible.
  4. Identify segments of clients' freight & warehousing needs where the company can add value.
  5. Be conversant in the company's online toolkit - complete online suite for client interaction including quoting, booking, tracking & reporting. EDI/API/TMS/WMS.
  6. Coordinate and respond to RFI’s and RFQ’s. Work with the operations team to provide logistics solutions for clients.

Experience:

  1. College degree preferred; HS graduate minimum requirement.
  2. Two years' experience minimum in any type of sales with a proven ability to generate new sales.
  3. Experience selling to large corporations is a plus.
  4. Minimum one year experience in the freight industry is required.
  5. An existing book of freight business is preferred.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office suite including Teams and PowerPoint.
  7. Stable work history with demonstrable success.
  8. Competitive, enjoys winning, driven, and coachable.
