Your Role:
As a Millwork Engineer, you'll play a vital role in providing accurate and detailed programs, shop drawings, and submittals using Microvellum and AutoCAD. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing high-end millwork in Microvellum and AutoCAD under the direction of the Production Manager and Project Manager.
  • Understanding architectural blueprints and plans to translate them into full architectural millwork shop drawings for submittal and production purposes.
  • Communicating with clients, architects, general contractors, and on-site trades to coordinate all details of a project.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in fabrication techniques for custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, and furniture.
  • Possessing knowledge of all materials and hardware used to manufacture the approved scope of work.
  • Being motivated and organized with great communication skills.
  • Exhibiting meticulous attention to detail.
  • Working in the shop as required to gain familiarity/expertise with processes, products, and machinery.
  • Create detailed and precise millwork designs using Microvellum and AutoCAD.
  • Review and understand architectural blueprints, translating them into shop drawings.
  • Coordinate project details with clients and various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Utilize your fabrication knowledge to ensure designs are practical and executable.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of materials and hardware required for projects.
  • Support the Production and Project Management teams across multiple projects.
  • Participate in shop activities to gain hands-on experience with our products and machinery.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • Candidates who have proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
  • Possess extensive knowledge in CNC programming and tooling.
  • Have knowledge of custom millwork construction to AWI standards.
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Are proficient in MS Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
  • Have strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Can work on a deadline-driven schedule and handle pressure.
  • Are extremely detail-oriented.
  • Have the ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of quality building practices.
