The Opportunity
DAT is seeking a full-time Engagement and Events Marketing Manager to join our Customer Engagement and Event Marketing team in our Denver, CO office.
As the Engagement and Events Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance interactions and brand preference for DAT customers and potential customers, encompassing in-person trade shows, DAT hosted conferences, virtual events, and training/education, as well as other engagement opportunities. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate customer engagement strategies across the organization.

Candidate profile
- The ideal candidate has experience working in a dynamic corporate marketing or agency environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead with influence
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a rapidly-changing environment
- Corporate event experience in planning and executing world-class corporate events, aligning event execution with strategic goals to ensure measurable outcomes.
- A strong attention to detail.
- Great interpersonal communication abilities, and team coordinating experience for projects and event execution.
What You'll Do
- This role will be a key contributor to our initiatives to become a more customer centric organization
- Map out and maintain engagement roadmap for each segment, in collaboration with other key members of Marketing, Sales and Product teams.
- Partner with key stakeholders to translate business problems into action through customer engagement campaigns, virtual and in person events, customer visits, etc
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize key messages, product information, digital marketing, social media, branding elements, lead capture and tracking for events, individual tradeshows and target audiences.
- Plan and lead marketing engagement calls with all stakeholders, including marketing teams, sales and leadership, reviewing engagement strategies, desired outcomes and return on investment
- Monitor and evaluate customer engagement opportunities, industry trends, competitor participation, and emerging opportunities to continually enhance the organization's strategy.
- With other members of the marketing team, execute show/exhibit promotional plans that maximize brand recognition and generate leads. This includes developing objectives and strategies for the effectiveness and ROI for each event.
- Assist with lead capture planning, post-event lead assignment approach, analysis and reports, while working closely with sales team to track ROI, identifying areas for improvement and best practices to optimize future participation.
- Generate and interpret post-show reports, including ROI and follow-up activities that result in sales.
- Trade show and event operations support, including on-site coordination as necessary
The Skills and Experience You'll Bring
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience in marketing, with a focus on building customer engagement strategies
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with sales, product, customers, vendors and senior management.
- Prior trade show and corporate event planning experience
- Ability to manage workloads and prioritize requests to meet hard deadlines.
- Outstanding project and process management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with high professionalism.
- Robust attention to detail, without losing sight of the big picture.
- Ability to problem-solve
- Maintains composure and remains unflappable even in high-pressure situations
- Bachelor's degree

(Colorado only) In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $70,000 base salary, plus benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
