Accountant

Our client, a leading company in the accounting industry, is seeking an Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be part of the Accounting department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

What's the Job?

• Perform WW Subscription Revenue accounting activities focused on Finished Goods and iTunes transactions.
• Review clearing accounts on a weekly basis and investigate if issues or variances are identified.
• Support Business Partners in review, analysis, and Journal Entries, as required.
• Review Vendor transactions and perform Reconciliations between Internal and Vendor system Reports.
• Post Journal Entries and complete Quarterly Recons for various Balance Sheet accounts.
• Participate in projects during their entire cycle, from initial engagement to production go-live.
• Lead, plan and support the implementation of initiatives to drive process improvements in terms of quality, efficiency and scalability.
• Manage and resolve exceptions that impact revenue recognition and other relevant accounting processes.

What's Needed?

• Background and education in Accounting
• CPA, preferred
• ASC 606 experience, preferred
• Experience working with large data sets in Excel
• SAP experience, preferred
