Real Estate Asset Manager (Consultant)

We are seeking a Real Estate Asset Manager Consultant located in Atlanta, Georgia to provide approximately 50 hours of monthly consultation to provide leasing, operation, financial and development assistance at our multi-family property.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with property management companies and/or joint-venture partners to drive operating performance and property valuation.
• Help ensure that performance and investment objectives of assets are met.
• Identify operational problems that could impact investment valuation and recommend corrective measures to senior management and operating partners.
• Compose, review and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual property operating and capital budgets.
• Monitor, evaluate, and approve the release of funds for capital improvements and on-going property maintenance capital needs.
• Review and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements for each property.
• Oversee leasing efforts at the property to ensure goals are being met by Property Management company
• Assist in development planning tasks with the City of Atlanta or other jurisdictions.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily Asset Management.
• 5+ years of P&L and Balance Sheet Management Experience
• Experience overseeing and implementing value-add business plans for multifamily assets, including renovation programs.
• Prior on-site property management experience 
• Ability to effectively communicate with executives, members of senior management, and operating partners.
• Ability to influence others and win support on critical issues.
• Ability to assist in permitting and site planning tasks 
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight timelines.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to property in Atlanta Georgia
