Sales Director - Custom Software Solutions - Raleigh-Durham, NC

Salary: $120,000-$125,000 base + commission

Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC - Monday through Thursday onsite and Friday work from home

Will provide relocation assistance for any candidates not in the area.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team and help drive revenue growth for our custom software solutions and consulting services in the US market. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating strong sales team/content and plan, building, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing customized software solutions and consulting services to meet those needs. The Sales Director will directly manage 5 US and 1-2 UK-based teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  2. Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and research.
  3. Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  4. Collaborate with the technical team to successfully deliver software solutions and consulting services.
  5. Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
  6. Content writing on a regular basis for bettering sales pitches and positions.
  7. Participate in industry events and conferences to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience selling custom software development (not already existing SaaS).
  3. Experience in Custom Software Development Services/Outsourced Staff augmentation.
  4. Experience working for software outsourcing services companies.
  5. Experience managing and leading a team of SDRs and AEs.
  6. Experience in setting up sales pipeline for software outsourcing/IT staff augmentation business.
