About This Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Director to oversee all aspects of our electronic manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will influence the P/L through driving operational excellence, ensuring the safety and quality of our products, and fostering a healthy and close partnership with customers. The Manufacturing Director will report to CEO/Group GM and will work closely with other members of the leadership team to achieve company objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve plant performance, increase efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards
- Oversee all plant operations, including production, inventory control, logistics, maintenance, and safety
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, and staff to achieve operational excellence and meet company goals
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to meet operational needs and financial goals
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and improve supply chain efficiency
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance and reduce waste
- Identify and implement new technologies and best practices to enhance plant operations and drive innovation
- Order and Capacity Management
- Responsible for the P/L of the plant; Managing product cost and pricing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in an electronic manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and achieving operational goals
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen and financial acumen
- Experience working with customers and suppliers of top tiers
