The AI Solutions BU develops products at multiple layers of the technology stack, from AI-enabled software application to deeply embedded AI algorithms. The AI Solutions BU collaborates with our Market BUs to solve problems beyond the reach of pure semiconductor, circuit-level, or architectural innovation.

Position Overview

Lead Software System Design for the Intelligent Edge.

You will be a member of a core technology team within the AI Solution Business Unit and will be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting edge technology that will transform the semiconductor industry.

During the first year, you will be responsible for achieving the following milestones:

  1. Architect, release and maintain software for data collection platform products to enable a variety of customer profiles to interact with our products seamlessly.
  2. Architect and implement data collection pipelines, edge inference, edge training, model deployments with and without neural processing hardware, and model compilers as part of complex real-time, resource constrained systems in conjunction with various vertical market Business Units.
  3. Define model formats and design algorithms targeted at embedded systems.
  4. Work with Hardware Engineers and ML Algorithm Research Scientists to develop novel software and hardware techniques for data quality improvement and filtering.
  5. Become a thought leader in Intelligent Edge software products and create methodologies and IP blocks to scale solutions to products across ADI.
  6. Lead stakeholder adoption of our products and demos.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Technical leadership experience in Embedded Software.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills.
  • Experience using ARM or Tensilica development tools such as Keil, IAR, Eclipse, mBed, GCC.
  • Experience with Linux, FreeRTOS and/or other embedded OSs.
  • Solid understanding of signal chains, sampling theorem, noise, time domain to frequency domain conversion, windowing and filtering.
  • Solid problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
