Your Impact
The Digital Content Coordinator is part of the Fund Development Department, made up of the Fundraising, Volunteer Services and Marketing teams. This position plays a critical role at Habitat Greater San Francisco (Habitat GSF) in spreading awareness, increasing engagement with key audiences and driving growth across digital channels. This position is responsible for partnering on strategy development, creating content, and tracking and analyzing our metrics.
Habitat GSF is in the midst of a digital marketing campaign that has driven exponential audience growth and engagement, and you can be part of it! You will play a crucial role in continuing to drive our growth and optimization of our digital channels, so a growth mindset and passion for digital media will be key. In this role, you can expect to interact with our supporters and those we serve both digitally and in-person, capturing and sharing the stories behind our mission. This role requires a combination of curiosity to learn, creative idea generation and the technical proficiency to implement your ideas. Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation and Posting - 65%
- Develop platform-specific content, including writing on-brand and channel appropriate copy, and creating dynamic graphics and videos.
- Capture content on site at events, volunteer days and with staff at the office.
- Edit and post real-time social content at events and volunteer days.
- Develop internal email newsletter and contribute to blog.
- Moderate conversations, actively engage with audience on social channels in a consistent and timely manner, encouraging positive interactions with HGSF.
- Target / boost social posts in support of broader communications plans and fundraising campaigns.
- Help to coordinate new collaborations and partnerships.
- Collaborate with Marcom team to develop and execute cutting-edge social media content plans.
- Leverage understanding of platform algorithms and trends to optimize content performance and maximize reach across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Partner with Digital Marketing Consultant to implement recommendations in a timely manner.
- Track and analyze performance metrics daily and share out weekly reports, make ongoing optimizations.
- Analyze data and conduct competitive analysis to extract actionable insights, to continually refine and optimize our approach.
- Perform additional appropriate duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant experience
- 2-3 years of professional experience working with social media channels for a visible brand, including content creation, content capturing, scheduling, social listening and analytics
- Proficient at Microsoft applications, and Canva, Creative Suite, or other content creation tools
- Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite
- Video editing skills
- Experience with still photography and video creation
- Experience working to and meeting deadlines rigorously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage an unpredictable workflow and possess the flexibility to respond thoughtfully and quickly
- Experience supporting digital marketing efforts, with a heavy emphasis on innovative platforms and digital analytics
- Proven digital fluency, experience adopting real world trends and applying them to a brand
- Key understanding of growth and engagement tactics
- Must be able to travel frequently within our Tri-County area Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties. Must have access to personal vehicle or reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass background check (In accordance with state and county law: convictions do not necessarily rule out employment, it depends on the nature and severity of the conviction and is evaluated on a case by case basis, check is conducted on last 7 years only.)

Work Environment
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Sometimes this role will work in on outside conditions that may include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and stand or bend as necessary. Must be able to travel.

Compensation for this role is competitive, DOE.
