About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Health Education Training Coordinator who is bilingual in Spanish or Amharic to join our Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering training programs to community health workers, promoting health education and disease prevention, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for improving the health and well-being of the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Amharic.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in community health education or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of health education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in public health, health education, or a related field.
  • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).
  • Experience working with diverse communities and populations.
  • Experience in program evaluation and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver training programs to community health workers, including developing training materials and evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote health education and disease prevention initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of training activities.
  • Provide support and guidance to community health workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community health education programs.
