Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Pay Rate: $23/hr (W2)
Duration: 6 months temp-to-hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Possible shift change to Sunday-Thursday after 6 weeks)
Location: Onsite at 970 Riverside Parkway Suite 20, West Sacramento, CA 95605
Overtime: Required; schedule may change based on business needs
Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will refill and replenish prescription requests in an automated setting, under the supervision of a pharmacist, in a fast-paced production environment. Your role will focus on maintaining workflow to meet daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill bottles with prescribed medications.
- Utilize SI Baker equipment for order filling.
- Conduct inventory counts and replenish low-stock.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Process incoming supplies and assist with shipping orders.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in science preferred.
- A valid Pharmacy Technician license is required.
- Complete state and national technical training as necessary..
- HIPAA Certification is required.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and good computer skills; warehouse experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/carry 20-25 pounds
- Stand/walk for the majority of the shift (8+ hours)
- Requires bending, twisting, and reaching
