Key Responsibilities:

*This role will be onsite in Memphis, TN*

Automation Strategy and Design:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive automation strategies and frameworks based on project requirements, technical specifications, and business needs.
  • Define automation goals, scope, methodologies, and resource requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Design and establish automation processes and standards to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality results.

Framework Development and Implementation:

  • Architect and build scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using tools and technologies such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
  • Develop reusable automation components and libraries to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
  • Ensure that automation frameworks support various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, manage workloads, and ensure effective execution of automation activities.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Test Execution and Maintenance:

  • Oversee the execution of automated test scripts, ensuring timely and efficient execution across various environments.
  • Monitor and analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and update automation scripts and frameworks to accommodate changes in application features and requirements.

Collaboration and Integration:

  • Collaborate with development teams, QA engineers, and stakeholders to integrate automation solutions into the software development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with CI/CD teams to ensure seamless integration of automation into build and deployment pipelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the automation team and other departments to address issues and ensure alignment.
  • Quality Assurance and Best Practices:
  • Ensure adherence to established automation processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to optimize automation practices and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation and software testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality automation solutions.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks, test cases, and test results.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on automation progress, results, and metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years with experience in test automation, with a strong background in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
  • Experience with automation tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Experience with software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
  • HS Diploma / GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing solutions and services (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Azure Test Plans).
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation and process improvement.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile testing practices
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
