This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned attorney with 5-8 years of experience in first-party property insurance litigation to contribute to high-stakes cases and collaborate with a diverse portfolio of clients!

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance defense exclusively, representing major insurance companies
• Specialize in first-party property insurance litigation and coverage disputes
• Conduct thorough examination of insurance claims and provide coverage opinion letters
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes
• Engage in catastrophic insurance work as needed

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of California
• 5-8 years of experience in first-party property insurance litigation
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging legal environment
