Reef Private Equity is currently developing several world-class projects, including:
  1. Black Desert Resort - A $2 billion+ resort in Ivins, Utah consisting of a 148 key hotel, over 1,000 condos, a championship-level golf course that will host a PGA tour event in October 2024, a water park, neary 100 estate lots, etc.
  2. Deer Valley East Village - 150 estate lots and 300+ townhomes at Deer Valley Ski Resort near Park City Utah
  3. Marcella Club - A private club including a Tiger Woods designed golf course outside Park City, Utah
  4. Coco Palms - Restoring the historic Coco Palms hotel on Kauai including 350 guest rooms, 4 restaurants, a spa, meeting space and a wedding chapel
  5. Tributer Bay - A a 900 lot lake and golf community adjacent to Lake Anna in Virginia

Job Description:
This position plays a crucial role in analyzing potential acquisitions, monitoring portfolio assets, conducting market research, and providing actionable insights to support our investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial modeling, investment analysis, a keen eye for detail, and strong analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Investment Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of acquisition targets, including performance evaluation, risk assessment, and benchmarking. Develop financial models to forecast performance and identify trends.
  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets related to market trends, investment performance, and financial metrics. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis.
  • Market Research: Monitor financial markets, economic conditions, and industry developments. Provide regular updates and strategic insights on market trends and investment opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and other team members to support investment decision-making and strategy development. Take a lead role in managing and mentoring the analyst pool.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to existing analytical processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus, such as Finance, Economics, or Mathematics; 3.5+ GPA required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in real estate development, investment banking, consulting, or other highly analytical role. Demonstrated experience in portfolio analysis and financial modeling.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
    • Experience with financial software and tools
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
    • Expert understanding of relevant financial concepts (IRR, net present value, etc...).
