Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$209,500.00 - $335,300.00

What Is the Opportunity?

This position will report to the President, National Accounts and will provide the thought leadership, innovation, and long-term strategy to ensure that capabilities, processes, technology, and tools continually evolve to ensure National Accounts meets customer needs for the future. Risk Management Information Services (RMIS) and Constitution State Services (CSS) will report directly to this position. In addition, the incumbent will work closely with Risk Control and Claim to ensure strategies and priorities are aligned with National Accounts. This will represent a single National Accounts senior leadership team to be the voice of the customer.

Primary Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Leads the RMIS and CSS organizations in the development/execution of strategies to enhance processes, capabilities, tools, and resources to provide customers, brokers, and fronted carriers with data insights to manage their insurance risk and supporting the Field Underwriting/Marketing organization to grow the business.
  2. Fosters collaborative working relationships with both internal partners and external customers and brokers to influence business outcomes.
  3. Develop and monitor operational metrics for RMIS and CSS that demonstrate the ongoing economic value to the business, including components to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  4. Proactively stays abreast of industry and competitor trends, products, services, and technologies. Adjust strategies and recommend investments to optimize business outcomes which provide a competitive business advantage.
  5. Oversee the management of all facets of staff performance; delegates responsibility and accountability to produce results and to motivate and develop others. Identifies and removes barriers to effective interactions across the enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. College degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. Typically has 10+ years of relevant experience. Prior experience in National Accounts, Claim, RMIS and/or CSS.
  3. Seeks out, builds, fosters, and maintains collaborative/productive relationships, networks, and alliances to meet goals and achieve results.
  4. Proven ability to effectively lead and develop other leaders.
  5. Proven abilities in strategy formation and assessment of competitive environment. Can effectively communicate a vision and create a followership at a senior level.
  6. Proven abilities in understanding the current and future data and analytics needs of customers and the Field Underwriting & Marketing organizations.
  7. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  8. Strong negotiation and influence abilities to effectively balance the needs of multiple constituencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10 years of property & casualty insurance required.
  2. Experience leading other leaders.
