Construction Manager- Affordable Housing Developer

**Project Manager Opening with DC-based Affordable Housing Developer**

Do you have experience as a PM or CM on affordable housing projects? This can be either as a GC or CM. This national construction management firm is looking for an individual to bring their expertise in affordable housing to the organization as they have a significant pipeline of upcoming projects in this space.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the construction process by conducting regular job site meetings with subcontractors, owner representatives, architects, engineers, consultants, and other project personnel
• Summarize all pricing, level bids, and present an analysis comparing the bids to the original cost out estimates.
• Implement general contracting activities for new construction and construction improvement projects.
• Coordinate development and approval of architectural and engineering construction drawings. Review plans, facilitate permit procurement with partners, manage bid process, oversee improvements with the property team and close out projects.
• Solicit, prepare and evaluate bid documents and review contracts to ensure complete scope coverage.
• Work with our partners to facilitate site visits as part of the RFP process and meet with all necessary parties to facilitate obtaining necessary building permits.

Requirements:

• 7-15 years of project management/construction management experience, ideally including experience working for both a general contractor and a developer
• Experience working on affordable housing projects
