Stone CNC Operator

Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. has a long and distinguished history of providing products for the commercial and residential construction industry. Our Oklahoma City team has a cutting-edge countertop fabrication facility, and we are searching for an experienced CNC Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment to create an efficient and productive manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to fabricate stone countertops according to specifications.
• Load and unload stone pieces onto CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor CNC machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of cuts and finishes.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
• Inspect finished pieces for imperfections and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Always adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC machines.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy stone pieces (up to 50 pounds).
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your team.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in countertop fabrication and polishing.
• Familiarity with different types of stone materials and their characteristics.
