Position Description

NEAM has developed a comprehensive scope ofservices, including asset management services, enterprise capital strategy(ECS) services, a capital and risk analytics (CARA®) platform and investment accountingand reporting services.

The Summer Analysts will work in the NEAM offices in Farmington,CT. We currently offer a hybrid schedulewith M/F remote, and T/W/TR in our Farmington, CT office.
Our 2025 Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June 2nd - August 8th) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of New England Asset Management, Inc. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.
Keyhighlights of the program include the following:
Mentorship program to support learning and development.
Weekly speaker series to promote a deep understanding of the firm, our culture and share personal perspectives with employees.
Intensive training on our business model and how employees of the firm contribute to achieving our goals.
Frequent connectivity with other Summer Analysts and our program team.
Round table discussions on current events with relevance to our business.
Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm.
Assist/Manage the formation of trends and metrics as it relates to the analysis work to support the business supervisory process that the data supports.
Assist with presentations, projects, and related follow up tasks.
May be assigned to special projects in various departments throughout the Firm.
Participate in a community outreach program with teens from the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford.
Qualifications
To be eligible for consideration students must beundergraduates currently in their junior year and in good standing at theschool. Summer Analysts should have an interest in Portfolio Management,Actuarial Science, Relationship Management, ESG, Investment Accounting, Risk,and Information Technology within the financial services industry and be eagerto learn and make an impact.
Qualifications, Education, Experience
High school degree required.
Pursuing a degree with a concentration in one of the following: Finance, Operations, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics,
Data Science, Accounting or Business is desirable.
Prior internship experience in Financial Services is a plus.
Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise
Detail-oriented and attention to accuracy and meeting deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
