Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions, assist with the preparation of financial statements, and review payroll entry transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Analyze budgets and other financial information
Reconcile bank statements
Prepare financial reports and statements for local group entities and also to headquarter
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations
Assist tax advisors with information, documentation and reports required for the timely filing of corporate taxes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
3-5 years of experience in related field
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, and other accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Fluent in Spanish a plus, but not required
