In this role, your insights will shape development requirements, driving the creation of top-tier solutions seamlessly integrated with Inspired Flight systems. You will work with a team of technicians and engineers to ensure systems and mechanical equipment are integrated with the highest level of quality to support customer’s mission objectives.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Typical responsibilities:
- Multi-disciplinary projects including design, development, testing, and documentation
- Manage multiple projects in parallel or series dependent on priorities
- Perform hands-on payload integration activities, including mechanical fitment, electrical wiring, programming, and troubleshooting
- Install hardware in a highly detailed and quality manner which includes removal, repair and installation of payloads
- Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions for Inspired Flight payloads
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to create complete system integration
- Testing payload solutions to improve performance, documentation, and troubleshooting
You’ll excel in this role if you have:
- Prior experience with a UAS manufacturing company
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical (wiring), and firmware engineering
- Experience preferably in the following industries: aviation, aerospace, defense sector
- Exceptional communication skills, including demonstrated experience in delivering solutions proposals to executive-level stakeholders
- Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment with superior organizational and time-urgency skills
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 3-5 years of field experience in a similar role
- You must be able to obtain a Part 107 UAV pilot’s license within your first six months
