Insight Global is currently seeking a Civil Engineer for a full time, direct hire opportunity based in Canonsburg PA. You will be working a hybrid/remote schedule as you will be working 4 days remote and 1 day onsite. Relocation assistance is also provided for an all star candidate who meets all of these qualifications.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of Engineering experience
- Must have experience within site development
- Civil Engineering Degree
- PE Certification (Must have active PE, highly preferred to have PE cert in PA)
- Civil 3D CAD Experience
- Construction specs/codes
Plusses:
- PE certifications in multiple states
- Construction management, GC or CE
- Structural engineering experience in addition to site development
Day to Day:
In this role will join a growing team and would be a true Civil Engineer to start that can mold into a more management role over time if desired. This individual will be responsible for hands-on drafting and design within CAD for commercial and residential projects. These projects are typically site development focused so we are seeking someone that has true site design background. This engineer will be expected to draw out site plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D, assist in permitting process, handle utility coordination, and have a strong understanding of erosion and wetland management. There will be anticipated travel to client sites as required but this team works a hybrid schedule (minimum of 1 day in office a week) when this person isn't traveling. The role requires an active PE certification ideally in PA but open to individuals with a PE in other states if open to obtaining their PE certification in PA.
