**Responsibilities**
* Provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease.
* Restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.
* Patients include anyone who suffers from physical limitation.
* Examine patients’ medical histories and then test and measure the patients’ strength, range of motion, balance and coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration, and motor function.
* Develop appropriate treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
**Qualifications**
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree
* 1 years’ experience (this requirement will be waived with a strong recommendation from an acute care or outpatient clinical affiliation)
* Current valid NJ State Physical Therapy license
* Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support HCP Certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
* 2 years’ experience
* Experience with electronic health records
* Master’s degree or PhD in Physical Therapy
