Compliance Analyst - international and domestic. Ensure company's logistics, supply chain, and transportation operations comply with all applicable regulations, laws, and industry standards. This role requires expertise in logistics, transportation, and subcontractor compliance/management, while supporting continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives across the company's operations.

About this Role
Compliance Analyst - international and domestic. Ensure company's logistics, supply chain, and transportation operations comply with all applicable regulations, laws, and industry standards. This role requires expertise in logistics, transportation, and subcontractor compliance/management, while supporting continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives across the company's operations.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes in transportation, trade, customs, and supply chain (e.g., DOT, FMCSA, FMC, customs regulations).
- Conduct compliance audits and assessments to ensure logistics operations and supply chains adhere to laws and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance programs for all logistics operations, including transportation and fleet management, with a particular focus on rapid network expansion.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to optimize the scalability and flexibility of the logistics network, ensuring seamless integration of new suppliers, subcontractors, and transportation partners. Prioritize efficiency, risk mitigation, and adherence to evolving regulatory landscapes to enable rapid domestic and international growth.
- Collaborate with operations, management, and legal teams to identify gaps and ensure compliance in areas such as operations, transportation, and warehousing.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audits and corrective actions related to the supplier network.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in internal and external compliance audits.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in logistics and compliance to ensure proactive risk management.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a compliance role with logistics or supply chain focus.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and driving regulations (DOT, FMCSA, customs laws).
- Familiarity with fleet management and international trade compliance is a plus.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in compliance management systems and logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CTCS) is a plus.
