Position Overview:
We are looking for Surgical Assistants (SA/RNFA) with proficiency in ROBOTIC surgery to support our surgical team. Multiple positions are open in the Katy/Houston, TX area. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our surgical procedures. Your expertise and dedication will directly impact the quality of care we provide to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgery.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.
- Ensure a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including general surgery, robotic surgery, and orthopedic surgery.
- Monitor and document patient vitals and assist with patient positioning.
- Provide excellent patient education and support.
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) or equivalent certification (SA-C, CSFA, LSA, RNFA).
- Proficiency in laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment.
- Willingness to collaborate and support the surgical team.
- Current CPR certification.
