Job Description Summary:

The account executive will be managing the relationship with key merchants. Will act as a consultant providing solutions and adding value to its portfolio. Manage cross-cultural team collaboration and have a sales mindset looking for opportunities to cross-sell and upsell.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights and support to help merchants develop strategy
  • Develop strategic relationships with enterprise merchants
  • Drive revenue growth of PayPal solutions by meeting or exceeding quotas on a quarterly basis
  • Manage the relationship with merchants and be a consultant providing solutions and activities to increase value and growth
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM system at all times, including activity logs, pipelines, and revenue forecasts
  • Act in accordance with our compliance and regulatory obligations at all times

Requirements:

Business Acumen

  • Knowledge of the features and benefits of the broader product portfolio
  • Knowledge of the merchant value drivers and technical attributes

Prospecting & Pipeline Management

  • Extremely diligent in identifying opportunities, building, and managing their pipeline
  • Experience of understanding and implementing activities that drive pipeline and outcomes
  • Gathering industry insight & monitor competition

Strategic Account Development and Relationship Management

  • Knowledge of merchant/partner needs and applying a customer mindset
  • Able to develop a comprehensive strategy to obtain merchant intelligence
  • Provide insights to help develop and deliver against the overall account strategy
  • Develop bespoke solutions for complex merchant needs

Communication

  • Selling to multiple and diverse stakeholders
  • Confidently presenting the value proposition to merchants/partners
  • Experience handling objections and managing the negotiation process

Negotiating & Influencing

  • Good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Experience of developing internal networks with peers

+5 years of experience in Sales or Commercial roles.
