What You'll Do:
In this role, you will assist patients by escorting them to exam rooms and obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure. You'll document patient histories and chief complaints in our system and prepare patients for exams and procedures by positioning, draping, and disinfecting as needed. Assisting with exams, you will perform procedures like EKGs and wound care, including placing leads and conducting EKGs. You will also carry out ear lavages and remove sutures or staples from superficial wounds. Additionally, you will apply basic dressings, collect specimens for lab work, and draw blood as ordered by the provider. Running various lab tests such as CBC, CMP, and BMP will be part of your responsibilities. You will apply splints and remain adaptable for cross-training, taking on additional tasks as needed to support our mission and values.

Position Details:
- Full-time, seasonal position
- 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends
- Starting pay: $14/hour and up, depending on experience

Training Requirement:
All newly hired employees must participate in a 4-day training session in Texarkana, TX as part of their onboarding process.
