Travel Cath Lab Tech in Saint Louis, MO

**Job Title:** Cath Lab Tech

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years as a cardiac cath lab scrub tech
**License:** Current state license required; submissions accepted without license in hand for certain states
**Certifications:**
- Fit testing compliance required (facial hair may need adjustment)
- Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)
- EPIC charting experience preferred
**Must-Have:**
- Critical experience with diagnostic cardiac procedures, coronary stents, STEMI’s, vascular procedures, ICD’s, pacemakers, loop recorders, and carotid stenting
- Ability to participate in a call rotation
- Compliance with specific state licensing rules
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day)
- Ability to cover shifts as needed including every other weekend
**Job Description:**
- Conduct diagnostic cardiac procedures and assist in coronary stenting.
- Support vascular procedures, including the insertion and maintenance of devices like ICDs, pacemakers, and loop recorders.
- Participate in the care and recovery of patients pre- and post-procedure.
- Ensure adherence to safety and medical protocols within the facility.
- Work collaboratively with hospital staff and contribute to a positive patient care environment.
- Manage a daily caseload with efficient and proficient skill.
- Integrate into a professional healthcare team, maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Flexibility to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
