Job Requirements / Description
BASIC PURPOSE: Performs strategic 3PL (Third Party Logistics), warehouse and logistics analysis, reporting and forecasting on recurring basis. Provides logistics data interpretation, identifies trends and performs quality assurance for 3PL, warehousing and logistics data integrity and accuracy. Support and coordinate logistics functions. Work with internal and external groups including purchasing, warehouse, 3PL and vendors to accomplish goals.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Business, Management or related field of study or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-4 years logistics related experience. Familiar with standard logistic concepts, practices, and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Good problem solving skills and basic analytical skills. Detail-oriented and organizational skills sufficient to review and process orders efficiently. Must be able to perform a variety of routine administrative tasks in a dynamic environment. Must be flexible with regards to frequent changes with ability to perform assigned responsibilities independently with routine supervision. Ability to prioritize tasks while supporting organizational and customer needs in a team-based environment. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel. Working knowledge of procurement tools and systems. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to obtain a Transport Workers Identification Card (TWIC) in order to perform the functions at any pier in the Unites States.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employ best practices to analyze large amounts of data while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Assemble and summarize large data sets; prepare reports with support solid conclusions regarding trends and findings (e.g. operation optimization and logistics performance metrics for warehouses and 3PL)
- Process and audit invoices related to the logistic operations for assigned vessels.
- Define and produce 3PL (Third Party Logistics), warehouse and logistics KPIs (Key Performance Indicator).
- Review, analyze and perform inventory adjustments in PODS, MXP and AMOS systems and executes Monthly physical Inventory at NCLH warehouses.
- Assist Director, logistics management with end of the month inventory reports.
- Manage and approve logistics movements with vendors, warehouse and other departments in a cost-effective yet timely manner.
- Monitor, approve and coordinate cost-efficient offloads from the ships including any reverse logistics to vendors or workshops and back to vessel.
- Review and ensure storing schedule is timely and accurately updated for current period plus twelve months.
- Review and ensure all containers are booked with the ship lines according to the vessel storing schedule.
- Communicate the container booking information to Ship Expeditors, vendors and consolidators.
- Request, receive and approve optimum pricing from approved carriers for urgent/special deliveries.
- Monitor and ensure all coordinated logistics are compliant with required delivery dates and hazardous regulations.
- Handle Health & Veterinary Certificates for food items
- Support, research data gathering and reports at the direction of the Manager, Logistics.
- Perform other job related functions as assigned.
