Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver is a Class C driver and responsible for delivering or retrieving construction equipment and/or material from job sites while ensuring safe arrival times. The work schedule is Sunday to Thursday 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks or vehicles to deliver or pick-up various sized equipment and material throughout S. California
• Tow trailers as needed to facilitate delivery of materials
• Hook-up, attach or disconnect trailers to vehicles
• Tie-down and inspect cargo ensuring department policies are practiced
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
• Ensure paperwork and email communication is completed accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and other team members regarding delivery arrival times
• Perform general maintenance and warehouse duties during non-drive time
• Adaptable to work independently and as part of a team
• Operate forklifts to move equipment as needed
• Additional duties will be assigned as needed to support the operations of the department

• Minimum of two years of construction equipment delivery experience or similar role of a related field
• Minimum of two years tow experience within a commercial environment
• Valid and insurable Class C driver's license (insurability is defined as a driver at least 24 years of age and fewer than 2-points on a driver record)
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Physical ability to load, unload equipment and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
