As aSoftware Developer III , you will join Premera’s Document Administration Systems Support team within the Employee Experience division. This lead dev role helps with Premera’s publishing process and systems, and takes care of the associated systems, reports, and processes. Your work will impact enterprise-wide resources for publishing, distributing information, and materials for a wide variety of audiences. Come join us and be a technical SME within the business.

What you’ll do:
- Complex data mapping
- Report design and architecture in SQL
- Report development (Tableau, Excel, SSRS, Power BI, ADO Dashboards)
- SharePoint Development (SPOL, Power Automate, Power App)
- Complex stored procedures and advanced queries (eDiscovery, Snowflake, SQL, Power Query, Power Shell)
- Data Integration (SSIS, Power Platform)
- Diagramming/flow charts/mapping
- Application architecture and development, includes migration to Azure SQL
- Collaborate with business partners to identify issues and suggest scalable technology solutions
- Take part in cross-functional team projects, using unit testing, test automation, and document test results
- Analyze moderate to high-risk production problems, assess alternatives and work with team to implement solutions. Includes performance tuning, technical troubleshooting, debugging, call-rotation, and root cause analysis
- Act as technical resource for team and share knowledge across Premera’s developer community. May mentor or advise less experienced staff
- Build new skills and maintain technical knowledge, staying current with trends and opportunities in the field
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems (Required)
- 5+ years of software development experience, and knowledge of software development lifecycle (Required)
- Experience with C#, JavaScript, VB Script, PowerShell, Python, Snowflake, SQL (Strongly Preferred)

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
National Salary Range:
$82,700.00 - $140,700.00
National Plus Salary Range:
$93,500.00 - $159,000.00
- National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
