Lead Technology Product Manager, Clinical Decision Support

As the Lead Technology Product Manager , Clinical Decision Support , you will be a key member of the Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Effectiveness team leading product-driven strategic initiatives with our key customers and industry-leading partners. We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Product Manager with hands-on experience working directly with EHRs (Electronic Health Records) or solutions that integrate with EHRs. You will need to be a go-getter who understands clinical workflows, is knowledgeable of EHR integration best practices, and is comfortable engaging with clinicians and hospital executives. Also, you will need to be customer-focused, entrepreneurial, and able to drive internal and external teams to timely delivery of goals. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing EHR workflow enabled product enhancements and new products from discovery and ideation through to go-live. You need a track record of working on innovation and early product concepts, a build quick, fail quick mentality, and possess a comfort level with the pace of change and level of ambiguity that accompanies new product development.
In this role, you will report to the Associate Director, Technology Product Management, and work a hybrid schedule (two days in office, three days from home) from one of the following offices: Waltham, MA, Chicago, IL, New York City, NY, or Madison, WI.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish deep understanding of trends, shifts, pain points, technology in the provider segment through primary and secondary research.
- Develop customer-driven, testable hypotheses.
- Conduct rapid experiments, prototyping, and other learning activities to move concepts through the development lifecycle.
- Develop business cases and present to executive team for buy-in and approval.
- Oversee vendor partnerships and early adopter programs.
- Manage implementation of our products in early adopter’s EHR systems.
- Establish and communicate KPIs including adoption metrics, perceived value, and ROI; monitor and measure customer performance against KPIs.
- Work with product marketing to ensure appropriate messaging and communication is developed and rolled out ahead of product features and enhancements releases.
- Collaborate with customer success, life-cycle marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive product awareness and adoption and engage users and clinical leadership.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining product management best practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of product management experience in the healthcare field.
- Experience working on EHR implementations or integrations into EHRs preferred.
- Proven ability to take product concepts from zero to launch successfully.

- Sound business judgment and ability to apply critical/strategic thinking in order to make appropriate recommendations.
- Decisive; willing to form an opinion and defend it.
- Strong project management skills, ability to define project goals and deliverables with limited guidance.
- Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with individuals and motivate, influence, and enlist cooperation even when you do not have direct authority or control.
- Proficient in identifying and managing issues and risks, with appropriate resolution and mitigation strategies.
- Capacity to manage multiple competing objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak to diverse audiences including clinical, technical, and executive.
- Comfortable with ambiguity.
- Travel up to 30%.
