Job Details

Overview:
The National Director of Sales will be responsible for executing the sales operations and strategies for the company starting in the California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive sales experience in the specialty pharmacy industry, with the pedigree to lead and expand an established sales team on a national level.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets and business objectives in the California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare organizations, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, and payer groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical services, pharmacy operations, and marketing, to align sales strategies with company goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and professional associations to enhance brand visibility and business development efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of Specialty Pharmacy Sales experience in the California market.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a field based, specialty pharmacy sales position, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the specialty/infusion pharmacy market, including payer dynamics, community health networks, and pharmaceutical distribution channels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
